Εὐθύδημος
The Euthydemus is Plato’s most openly comic dialogue, in which two brothers display a dazzling, dizzying art of verbal combat — proving anything and its opposite by sophistical tricks.
Against their eristic games Socrates sets true philosophy, which seeks not to win arguments but to turn the soul toward wisdom and the good.
