water · ὕδωρ
The icosahedron — twenty triangular faces, the roundest and most mobile of the four element-solids — is the body of water in the Timaeus. Its many faces let it roll and flow; built from the same basic triangle as fire and air, water can dissolve into and recombine with them. See the Platonic solids.
